News are distributed around the world, US-american TV series are praised by European viewers, media companies like Fremantle or Axel Springer are acting globally: A research team from Germany, Austria and Switzerland is taking a closer look at international activities on media markets. The research project titled “The management and economics of cross-border media communication. A study of the transnational relations between market structures and media management” is being funded by the German Research Foundation, the Austrian Science Fund and the Swiss National Science Foundation. The researchers from Germany, Austria and Switzerland start their work on the project in July 2015.
